For leaders in tech with 5 to 10+ years of experience

You've built the pipeline. Grown the team. Hit the number. Now build something that belongs to you.

You have the track record. What's missing is a sharp answer to what you sell, who buys it and what you charge. Madgrowth turns your experience into a positioned, priced offer for a fractional role, a services business or software, with AI skills you run yourself or 1:1 with me.

Where it stalls

You have the credibility. The offer is still missing.

You've shipped products, built teams and hit targets at companies people know. You want more control over your time and something you own. When you try to turn that into a business, four questions come up and stay open for months.

01

What do I sell?

Ten years of work could support a dozen businesses. Committing to one feels like closing off the rest.

02

Who is it for?

"I help companies grow" gives nobody a reason to call you. A buyer needs to recognize their problem and see why you're the one to fix it.

03

How do I package it?

Day rate, retainer, fixed-scope project or product. The same expertise earns very different money depending on the format.

04

What do I charge?

Most operators anchor on their last salary, price too low and end up with more work and thinner margins.

Not sure what to sell Too many directions to pursue Don't know how to price myself Can't explain what I do in one line Credibility, but no offer Income depends on one employer Fractional, services or software? Afraid of charging too little Ideas but no clear path Expertise trapped inside a job No time to figure it out alone No clear starting point
How it works

Five steps from experience to paying clients

It's the sequence I used to build my own businesses, turned into AI skills you can run on yours.

01

Find your angle

What do I sell?

The free Expertise Audit reads your career and returns your three strongest angles, each with the buyer, the problem and your proof.

02

Position it

Who is it for?

Four skills: customer interviews, your ICP, positioning and messaging. Every claim gets an evidence grade, so you know what's proven and what's still a guess.

03

Package it

How do I package it? What do I charge?

Three skills: the offer, the price and the numbers behind it. Most operators underprice and describe the offer too loosely. This step fixes both.

04

Build the audience path

Who hears about it?

Two skills: a content plan built from your messaging, and one lead magnet that leads to your offer. Enough to create inbound without a large following.

05

Launch it

Who pays first?

Five skills: landing page, launch plan, acquisition channels, the sales conversation and a client's first 90 days. Includes direct outreach to your first ten prospects.

Who it's for

For leaders in tech ready to build something of their own

A fractional role, a services business or software all start with the same decisions: what you sell, who buys it and what you charge. The skills use a different playbook for each.

Still employed, ready for more autonomy

Product, growth, revenue and engineering leaders with 5 to 10+ years at startups and scale-ups. You want flexibility and income that doesn't depend on one employer, and you'd rather build it while you still have the job.

Recently independent

Fractional executives, consultants and solo founders in their first year, including anyone fresh out of a layoff. You have deep expertise and a network. You still need a clear offer, a price and your first three clients.

Ready to build a product

Operators who want to turn a problem they've dealt with for years into software or a digital product, with evidence people will pay before six months go into building it.

Why not just…

Options you've probably considered

…ask ChatGPT or Claude?

You'll get a reasonable answer to each question and no decision at the end. The Stack remembers your business across fifteen skills, applies the playbook for your business model and passes each result to the next skill.

…take a creator course?

Most start with building an audience. Senior operators get paid sooner by defining the offer and the price first, then reaching the small group who'll buy it.

…join a fractional marketplace?

Useful once you know exactly what you sell and to whom. Marketplaces take a cut of every engagement and expect you to pitch yourself.

…figure it out alone?

Possible. It's also why so many people think about this for a year or more and never launch.

The Stack

Do it yourself · 15 AI skills

299€ · one-time

Fifteen AI skills that work as one system. The first asks eight questions about your business. Every skill after that reads your answers and loads the playbook for your model: services, software, product, local or media. The playbooks draw on frameworks from April Dunford, Blair Enns, Alex Hormozi, Bob Moesta and others, and every skill ends with a document you keep.

  • Position it: Talk to Customers · Your Customer · Positioning · Messaging
  • Package it: Your Offer · Pricing · The Numbers
  • Decide: Go / No-Go, scored against your Builder Archetype
  • Audience: Founder Content · Lead Magnet
  • Launch it: Landing Page · Launch · Get Customers · Convert · Retain
  • Run them in any order. The system keeps track.

The Audit

Written diagnosis · 5 business days

599€ · one-time

An honest assessment before you spend three months on the wrong thing. Send me what you have: the idea, your LinkedIn, a draft offer or a live site. I'll score it against the five steps (angle, positioning, offer, audience, launch), show you where it breaks and what to fix first. It's the scorecard I use on my own launches. If the angle is weak, I'll tell you.

  • Scored across all 5 steps, with a 90-day roadmap

Madalena Rugeroni
About

hi, I'm Madalena. I turn tech operators into owners.

Over the last decade, I've lived the tech operator trap.

Leading teams at Google. Scaling startups from zero to $10M in revenue. Six-figure salary, fancy titles, and zero ownership of my time.

I had built everything the playbook said to build. But my income still depended on one employer, my expertise was trapped inside someone else's company, and my time wasn't my own.

So I built a way out. Then I built Madgrowth to help others do the same. Today I advise and invest in startups and run a portfolio of internet businesses, including this practice and Mazo, my software company.

I work with leaders in tech who are done building for others and ready to build for themselves, whether that's a fractional role, a services business or software.

I've been where you are: the knowledge, the experience and the drive, with no clear path to make it work independently.

That's the path I'll help you find.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do I need to quit my job?

No. The system is built to run alongside a job, and most clients create their first offer while still employed.

What if I don't know what I'd sell?

Most people start there. The free Expertise Audit skill finds your three strongest angles in about ten minutes, using the career you already have.

I already use ChatGPT or Claude. Why pay for skills?

The Stack asks about your business once and remembers it across fifteen skills. Each skill applies the playbook for your business model, uses what the earlier skills produced and ends with a document you keep: an ICP, an offer, a price, a launch plan.

Fractional, services or software: does it matter which?

Not at the start. All three begin with what you sell, who buys it and what it costs. The skills use a different playbook for each, and the Go / No-Go scores the idea against your Builder Archetype before you commit months to it.

I have around 5 years of experience. Is that enough?

If you've owned an outcome, like a number, a team or a launch, yes. The Expertise Audit looks for the angle in the work you've done, whatever your title was.

Do I need a big audience?

No. The audience step builds inbound from a small, focused presence. A few hundred of the right people is enough to launch.

How do I go from a tech job to fractional or consulting work?

Start with a problem you've solved more than once and a type of company that has that problem and the budget to fix it. Package it as a monthly retainer with a clear scope and sell it to your network first. The Builder Diagnostic shows whether fractional work suits how you operate, and The Stack takes you through positioning, the offer and pricing.

How should I price a fractional role or consulting offer?

Price against the cost of the problem and the full-time hire the client would otherwise make, and sell a defined monthly scope in place of hours. The Pricing skill in The Stack runs this with Blair Enns and Alan Weiss for services and Madhavan Ramanujam for software.

The Stack, The Audit or The Build?

They use the same system. The Stack is the fifteen skills on your own (299€ once). The Audit is my written diagnosis of what you have (599€). The Build is the skills plus me, 1:1, with a guarantee (1,200€/month). If you're unsure, book the free 15-minute call from The Build card.

Do I have to run the skills in order?

No. The first skill you run asks eight questions about your business, once. Every other skill reads those answers, so you can start with pricing, the landing page or the Go / No-Go. There's a recommended sequence, and you're free to skip around.

Can I talk to you before starting The Build?

Yes. Book the 15-minute call from The Build card and bring your diagnostic profile. If you want an in-depth review of your plan, that's The Audit.

I'm already running a startup. Is this for me?
